While Tahiti may be the most popular tourist destination within French Polynesia, you may be surprised to learn that overall the best time to visit is during September and October. Although there is higher humidity, the climate is relatively mild, and the overall business of the islands is much quieter.

When To Avoid the Crowds

If you’re looking to book an extended stay in Switzerland, might we suggest in late May and early June, or after the summer rush in September and October. During both periods of time, the crowds are much less active, but the weather is milder, and hotel prices are usually much more affordable.

Most travelers will try to avoid the crowds by following along with the Antarctic cruise season, which runs from October through March; however, the best time to travel to Antarctica is during December and January. During the time, the weather is usually slightly warmer, and the days are relatively longer.
