GALAPAGOS

When To Avoid the Crowds

Because the Galapagos Islands are a protected park, they rarely ever experience large crowds. This is because there are strict regulations regarding the number of tourists that may visit at any given time. These regulations can help keep wildlife from becoming stressed out by constant attention. If you’re looking for nice weather, you may want to avoid the rains, which can be prevalent from July to November.

   Bucket List Highlights
  • Swim with your favorite sea creatures at Black Beach.

  • Explore the food and vendors at the traditional fish market in Puerto Ayora.

  • Get up close and personal with giant tortoises at Puerto Ayora’s Reserva El Chato.

  • Snap a picture-perfect memory at the scenic Playa Loberia.
